You are invited to learn about the City’s new Impact Fees and how they may impact residents and businesses in the Neighbourhoods of Bridgwater & South Pointe communities:

• On October 26, 2016, the majority of City Council voted in support of an ‘Impact Fee’ to be applied to all new homes being built in Waverley West and other suburban communities across Winnipeg.
• Effective May 1, 2017, a fee of $54.73 per sq. metre ($5,084.42 per 1,000 sq. ft.) will be charged on NEW home builds.
I will have a panel of experts, some of whom are developing commercial and residential properties in Bridgwater & South Pointe, speaking to what impact fees are as well as the impacts residents may expect.
