I'm sharing with you a Special Bulletin, as there are a number of important and time-sensitive updates within the South Winnipeg-St. Norbert ward. 

1. YOUR INVITATION:  Rapid Transit Stage 2 Information Session on Thursday, May 28 

On Thursday May 28, Winnipeg Transit will host a drop in information session from 3:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on the Functional Design of Stage 2 of the Southwest Transitway.  This event takes place at CanadInns Fort Garry, and project representatives will be available to explain the design and answer questions.  It is my intention to provide you with greater advance notice on major construction projects, but I was just informed of this event today.  For event details, visit Rapid Transit Stage 2.

2. Pembina Highway Road Construction

Road construction on Pembina Highway is in high gear!  Two crews are working on the lane rehabilitation and resurfacing from Southbound Bairdmore Boulevard North to Kirkbridge Drive, and from Northbound Killarney Avenue to Dalhousie Drive.  For more details, visit Pembina Highway Construction.
