Busing from Bison Run School and Pembina Trails Collegiate to Prairie Pointe and Bridgwater Trails

I have heard from many parents about the struggle to get their kids home to Prairie Pointe and Bridgwater Trails from the new schools. We are working closely with the Pembina Trails School Division on a few solutions- but wanted to provide this information as an option to the Winnipeg Transit Charter route S443 in the interim.
Winnipeg Transit has two buses in the morning that pick up students- unfortunately at this time, we can only provide one bus for the return trip- but hope to be able to add a second return bus starting December 18th.
PTSD is also close to getting a different charter bus to service one of the areas that is currently serviced by the S443- this should be in place in the next two weeks. We believe this will relieve some of the pressure on the S443 route allowing more students from Prairie Pointe and Trails to catch the bus home.
Until that time, if your students can’t get on the S443 at the end of the day – they can go to bus stop 61170 at Bridgeland and Maple Creek- East Bound just right of the traffic circle on Northtown and catch this route.
If you are using Navigo to plan your route – use stop 61170 as the starting point not the school. The stop at Waverley and Eaglewood is 61296.
If you live in Trails- you can also take the 676 route west bound.
