Community Fireworks Celebration!
CHANGE OF DATE – DUE TO WEATHER
Don’t blast off fireworks in your yard – its illegal!!! Instead – come join community members for a HUGE fireworks party!
We are celebrating Diwali – the Festival of Lights – the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance!
I’m thrilled to be partnering with Indian Brothers Grocery to host a spectacular fireworks show to celebrate the Festival of Lights :
- Tuesday, October 21st
- 8:30 pm – Fireworks Only
- Field beside the Bison Run Schools – 60 Frontier Trail
- Monitored parking available in elementary & high school parking lots & on surrounding streets
We’ve ordered high fireworks – so many will be able to watch from your back yards! (so – no need to fire any off in your yard!)
We will have refreshments, a DJ with great music and around 8:30 the fireworks will start!
We have amazing supporters who’ve come on board to enable this event to happen and want to thank them SO SO much!
DID YOU KNOW:
- It is illegal to set off fireworks in small yards !
- You require a minimum of 30 m (100 feet) in every direction away from the nearest building structure, neighboring property line or public land.
- It’s not worth the $500+ fine, come celebrate with us!

Let’s be respectful of our neighbours – and have a great community celebration together on Frontier Trail !
