FIRES, FOOD & YOUR SUPPORT

17,000 people being are evacuated in Manitoba due to wild fires. Thousands & thousands of people are arriving in Winnipeg. We want to support our fellow Manitobans & food is top of the list!

You can help by donating to the Canadian Red Cross

FOOD DRIVE June 16-21!

You can also help by donating to the South Winnipeg Food Drive – starting Monday June 16 thru Friday June 20th from 11:30am to 6:30pm and Saturday June 21from 9:00am to 2:00pm.

In partnership with  Harvest Manitoba, many community organizations, faith groups and your South Wpg elected officials have come together to hold a food drive!

We held a food drive in 2021 on the same site (former Subaru dealership) – and now THANKS to the ALWAYS outstanding support of owners & management team of The ARC and ALIGN Student and Co-Living Apartments- we are back at the same location!! ( that’s undergone a few renovations since 2021 )

  • AND we have a drive thru drop off behind the apartment tower!

South Winnipeg residents – you have an amazing community spirit, very generous hearts, and we know you will come out to fill the bins! (& receive an ice cream treat for your donation)

  • If you are a business & want a bin to collect – contact Harvest Manitoba at (204) 982-3663
  • Or – send a financial donation by scanning the QR code on the poster!
