South Winnipeg Community Centre (SWCC ) has a rare and exciting opportunity for a dynamic, self-driven individual to join the team.
The position is for a Full -Time, in person – Assistant General Manager
This is a one year term position with the potential option of permanent full time. The area served by SWCC is a rapidly growing, large multicultural and diverse community. Many changes are occurring at the SWCC to better serve the needs of our growing community.
Reporting to the SWCC Executive and Board of Directors, the Assistant General Manager (AGM) is responsible for the successful overall operations of the Community Centre services, programs, facilities, administration, office and staff management. This involves leading a team in planning, organizing, and coordinating activities to provide for well-coordinated services and programs for the growing community. Duties include optimizing facilities through sports and recreational programming, rentals, promotion and advertising functions, and liaising with Sports Conveners and management team to ensure programs are delivered effectively and efficiently. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and financial knowledge is paramount for this role.
