IMPASSABLE STREETS & A RESIDENTIAL STREET PLOW / PARKING BAN

Currently, the City is focusing plowing on Priority 1 streets (ie: Pembina, Kenaston, Abinojii, etc) AND plowing streets that are ‘impassable’.

If your street is ‘impassable’ please contact 311 and city will send out a plow.

Tonight, City will be plowing Priority 1 & Priority 2 streets to open for emergency vehicles.

Tomorrow, more snow and wind is expected and City will continue plowing Priority 1 & Priority 2 streets .

A RESIDENTIAL PARKING BAN will start on Sunday, Dec. 21^st at 7:00 am

Plowing will start in selected ‘Zones’ – KNOW your ZONE:

$200 TICKET IF you are parked in the ZONE when it is scheduled to be plowed

We need to ensure the streets are cleared for safety reasons. IF you are parked in a zone that is being plowed, you could receive a ticket.
The ticket will not be attached to your vehicle, it will be mailed to you. The Parking Authority will be using Automated License Plate Recognition (photos).

WHERE TO PARK & NOT TO PARK OVERNIGHT ?

You CAN park on the ‘Winter Routes’ only DURING the Residential Parking Ban – BETWEEN 7:00 am on Sunday, December 21^st and 7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 23^rd
