New Basketball Court in Bridgwater Forest

Many of you have noticed some construction work near the playground in Bridgwater Park on North Town Road. Crews are preparing the lot to install a dual purpose Basketball Court in Spring 2024. This court will have the added feature of hockey net bump outs on both sides for those who would like to play street hockey in a safe space.

This in a jointly funded project by South Winnipeg Community Centre, the Province of Manitoba and Councillor Janice Lukes.

We expect this project to be completed by Summer of 2024.
