New Permanent Fire Station in Waverley West

Hosted a super information evening in June with details on the new permanent fire/ paramedic station being built in Waverley West.

Currently, we have the innovative temporary portable station located at 130 Eaglewood Drive and we are now constructing the permanent station in Bison Run – beside new Recreation Campus!

Construction starts in fall 2026!

In 2025, Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Services responded to 136,198 incidents.

• 4,679 of these calls came from Waverley West.
• 18% were fire related
• ~ 70% were medical
• ~ 12% were facility transfers.

Much appreciation to ALL our first responders for keeping our families & neighbourhoods safe.
