Prairie Pointe Basketball Court – Eaglewood Park

UPDATE, June 2025:  Do you see the construction underway at Eaglewood Park?  Contractors are working hard to create a new basketball court that is designed under Winnipeg Minor Basketball Association standards! This will enable competitive league basketball matches for many youth in our community! Funding was secured from City of Winnipeg and Government of Canada – and we are going to have a super grand opening when the court is complete!!

APRIL 2024: Funding has been secured from the Federal Government and the City of Winnipeg, to construct a new regulation size Winnipeg Minor Basketball Association court at Eaglewood Park!

We are working with City planners and engineers to try and coordinate with the installation of the portable Fire Hall.  I do not have confirmation yet if the basketball court can be installed in 2024.

The portable fire hall will be in operation by Fall 2024, and I am very focused on also getting the basketball court started also. I will be posting updates on this website as we learn more.
