Recreation Construction Underway!

You will see a lot of fencing and construction occurring in four parks in the Waverley West ward, and more to come next year! Four recreation amenities will be completed in September, and we will be having an opening party at each one! Watch my social media platforms for details!  We will have official thanks to all the funders at the openings, but, none of these project would have happened without the outstanding partnership and financial support from the South Winnipeg Community Centre the Provincial and Federal governments.

• Chancellor Park  – junior cricket pitch
• Bhagat Singh Park  – tennis courts with pickle ball options
• Bridgwater Forest Park – basketball courts
• Bridgwater Lakes Park – regulation size cricket pitch (booking will occur for both sports as they can’t occur simultaneously)

And next year:

• Eaglewood Park – basketball courts
