BUDGET 2025 TOWN HALL DISCUSSION
I’m hosting an evening for residents of the Waverley West ward to join in a discussion on the City of Winnipeg’s Budget 2025. Councillor Jeff Browaty, Chair of Finance and a member of the budget working will be joining us. Budget 2025 focuses on safety, infrastructure needs and supplying services to residents in our growing City. There will be an ~ ½ hour presentation on:
- State of the City
- Key City Budget Impacts
- Key Waverley West Ward Budget Impacts
We will then take any questions residents may have.
REQUEST:
We have a short window of time to discuss an almost $3 Billion (operating and capital) budget, so IF you have any questions, please email them to jlukes@winnipeg.ca and put Town Hall Questions in the subject line.
- I will aim to answer them on line, and will speak to the popular questions at the Town Hall Discussion.
If you can’t attend, the City has prepared a survey to gather feedback, and you can also register and speak to your concerns at the various committees. The City Clerks will guide you on which budget meeting to attend.
