Official Opening – Bridgwater Trails Dog Park

You and your furry friends are invited to join us for the official opening of the Bridgwater Trails Dog Park!

Saturday, July 4^th

10:00 am

360 Appleford Gate

This fenced in 1 hectare (over 2 acres) park features trees, benches, climbing areas and a special fenced in area for small doggies!

• Bridgwater Pet Value will be in attendance with goodies and information

• Winnipeg Animal Services will also be on site for a licensing pop-up! Dog owners can conveniently purchase or renew their City of Winnipeg dog license at the park opening. Animal Services staff will also be available to answer questions about responsible pet ownership, dog park safety, and City by-law requirements. There will be a few giveaways and goodies for dog owners as well!

Animal Services’ attendance would include:

• On-site dog license sales and renewals
• Information about responsible pet ownership and Animal Services programming
• Animal Services General Manager and Animal Services Officer available to answer by-law and dog safety questions
• Information about the benefits of licensing, including helping lost dogs get home faster
• Information on adoptable dogs
• Giveaways/goodies for dog owners, while supplies last
