2015 Business Tax Bills

Business Tax Bills have been mailed to approximately 12,450 business premises within the City of Winnipeg. Business Taxes are payable on or before Friday, May 29, 2015. For 2015, the City-wide business tax rate is a uniform 5.60% which is lower than 2014 tax rate of 5.70%.
Small Business Tax Credit: The Small Business Tax Credit (SBTC) program has been continued for 2015. Under the SBTC program, businesses with a business assessment (Annual Rental Value) of $30,000 or less in 2015 will receive an offsetting credit equal to their full municipal business taxes for 2015. Please note the SBTC does not apply to the Business Improvement Zone Levy which must be paid in full on, or before, Friday, May 29, 2015.
Tax Instalment Payment Plan (TIPP): Any business that wishes to enroll on TIPP an application can be forwarded to our offices at 510 Main Street and monthly payments for their 2015 Business Taxes will commence on June 1st with the final monthly payment occurring on October 1st.
Brochure: Included with the 2015 Business Tax Bills was a brochure concerning how business taxes are calculated, methods of payment, penalties for late payments and telephone numbers for customer service inquiries.
