CELEBRATE International Trails Day on Saturday, June 4!

Please join myself and dignitaries for ice-cream and fun on International Trails Day! International Trails Day is an annual celebration of trails to promote trail development, the use of trails and the healthy lifestyle they encourage. It is celebrated each year on the first Saturday in June across North America.
To celebrate International Trails Day in the South Winnipeg-St Norbert Ward, we will be unveiling two new trailheads! Both trailheads are located on the Trans Canada Trail, and provide great maps and information about our community!
BOTH events take place on Saturday, June 4 (YES, you can come to both and enjoy ice-cream twice!):
King’s Park Front Entrance
- 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 4
- Unveiling with Councillor Janice Lukes, Sarah Guillemard MLA Ft Richmond, and Anders Swanson of Winnipeg Trails Association
St. Norbert Community Center Bike Parking Hub (Beside St. Norbert Farmers’ Market)
- 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 4
- Unveiling with Councillor Janice Lukes, Jon Reyes MLA St. Norbert, and Anders Swanson of Winnipeg Trails Association
We encourage everyone to join in the fun and participate in International Trails Day! Rain or Shine!!
