Please Slow Down

The COVID-19 pandemic is dramatically changing our recreation and transportation activities; transit service has been reduces, many recreation facilities are closed, and as a result, there is much more interaction with pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles on the streets than ever before.
I have a huge request for drivers – Please Slow Down.
The Winnipeg Police Service informed me they have a new ‘Please Slow Down’ campaign in the works that will be launching soon, but in the meantime – I’ve put together a short video to try and get the message out. We are all in this together, and we need to respect everyone’s space on the streets.

TO REPORT SPEEDING ISSUES:
• Phone Winnipeg Police non-emergency line (204) 986-6222
