Snow Removal for Seniors & Volunteer Credit Hours for Students!

You may recall last year I started working with Take Pride Winnipeg! to put into place a program where seniors could call in and have a student show up to remove their snow! I’m pleased to announce, after much planning and coordination, Take Pride Winnipeg! is launching the Snow Angel Program for the upcoming winter season!

  • SENIORS:  Do you require assistance removing snow on your sidewalk and/or driveway?
  • STUDENTS: Want to volunteer to remove snow in your neighbhourhood (and collect credit hours for school)?

Want more information?  Contact Take Pride Winnipeg!  Email: carrie@takepride.mb.ca or phone 204-956-7590, ext. 203.

This is a free service provided by Take Pride Winnipeg! and the City of Winnipeg.  The deadline for seniors to register is October 31, 2016 – but don’t delay!  Sign up early, as we anticipate there may be more demand than volunteers available!
