On May 19, 2020 the Standing Policy Committee on Infrastructure Renewal and Public Works directed the Winnipeg Public Service to study the intersection of Centre Street at Park West Drive and Park East Drive to determine if a four-way stop is warranted. See Motion.

On December 4, 2020, the Standing Policy Committee on Infrastructure Renewal and Public Works granted an extension of time of 180 days for the Winnipeg Public Service to study the intersection of Centre Street at Park West Drive and Park East Drive to determine if a four-way stop is warranted. Due to Covid-19, traffic patterns have changed and it is difficult for the public service to gather accurate data. They indicated they would aim to have a response by June 2021.
