Combatting Illegal Rooming Houses in Fort Richmond and University Heights

- 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. – Reports review and discussion (U of M Master’s Students and Councillor’s Two Year Review)
- 10:30 to 12:00 noon – Next Step discussion with City of Winnipeg Zoning and Community By-Law Enforcement Services
LOCATION: Richmond Kings Community Centre, 666 Silverstone
I am currently compiling a report highlighting my two years of work since being elected on the challenges and accomplishments related to combatting illegal rooming houses in Fort Richmond and University Heights. I will be releasing my report at the end of February, and will distribute it in my March newsletter (Subscribe Here if you are not already receiving my monthly E-Newsletters).
At the meeting on March 25, we will:
- Review the work done to date, and what the U of M Master’s students have studied and recommended for short, medium and long-term solutions.
- Discuss next steps with the City of Winnipeg Zoning and Community By-Law Enforcement Services
