University Crescent Road Reconstruction

University Crescent from Pembina to Chancellor Matheson Rd is undergoing a two year, $9.9 M reconstruction. Phase 1 occurs in 2021 and will be a complete reconstruction of both north and south bound University Crescent between Sifton Rd and Chancellor Matheson Rd. Phase 2 from Sifton Rd to Pembina Highway will occur in 2022 construction season. See the letter sent to residents. Residents will receive another notice with more information on staging and timing approximately one week before construction starts. Residents will also receive another notice next year regarding Phase 2.

Phase 1 Construction start: Early July 2021

Expected Phase 1 Completion: October 2021

Construction Limits: University Crescent from Chancellor Matheson Road to Sifton Road

This year’s construction will involve the full reconstruction of concrete pavement and curb, with sidewalk and asphalt pathway renewal as required. For details of traffic implications, please see the letter sent to residents.
