The above Thin Bituminous Overlay (TBO) project has been approved for construction as part of the City of Winnipeg’s 2021 Local Street Renewal Program. See the letter sent to residents.
Construction Start: September 30, 2021
Duration: Three weeks
Traffic implications:
- Restricted on-street parking
- Reduction to one lane for local access vehicular traffic
As part of this work, the contractor will adjust catch basins and manholes, repair concrete pavement, replace missing and damaged curbs, repair sidewalks as needed, restore the boulevard, mill the existing asphalt overlay and install a new asphalt overlay.

In these situations, you will be notified at least 24 hours prior to the disruption of access.
Garbage and recycling will continue to be picked up at regular locations and times. The contractor may relocate bins if required.
Anyone with accessibility needs, moving requirements, any underground appurtenances, such as sprinkler systems, lighting cables, etc. within 6 metres (20 feet) of the street curb line or any other questions are asked to contact Michael Spack from WSP Canada Inc. at (204) 771-5082, during regular working hours or by email at Michael.Spack@wsp.com.
