Whyte Ridge and Linden Ridge – My Comments on Bus Routes – Please Share Yours

RESIDENTS OF WHYTE RIDGE & LINDEN RIDGE

TODAY Transit starts a series of ‘public engagements’ regarding the PROPOSED bus route changes to connect to the new Southwest Transitway opening in 2020. These public engagements will take place in a converted BUS – find the ‘Ideas in Motion Bus’ at a variety of locations THIS week and NEXT week – see complete list of locations: Bus Routes Are Changing In Southwest Winnipeg

TODAY the bus will be at U of Manitoba – University Station between 12:00 – 2:30

MONDAY, April 8th
Kenaston Common, 1665 Kenaston Blvd.
6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

I have had a chance to review in detail the PROPOSED routes and discussed with transit staff. I believe the routes being proposed in Whyte Ridge and Linden Ridge don’t present any major challenges. The residential streets align well with the connector streets that transit will be running on – and the frequency is very good.

BUT PLEASE – if you have ANY feedback please send to me or to TRANSIT:
